I am so deeply proud of this song. It was written in high school and I still think it's one of the
best pieces I have ever composed. I didn't intend for it to sound so sad
at the time (I was honestly just proud to have composed something that
sounded beautiful) but I think it's incredibly appropriate. It has a
nostalgia to it. I was surprised to come out with something instrumental only and although my songs usually have words now, I wouldn't change anything about this.
